In the last one decade there has been transformational change in the students' aspirations for quality education amidst an increasingly competitive environment. To meet the high aspirations, students are travelling around the world to pursue higher education. The global education inspires creativity and fosters innovation. It provides students with the necessary skills to be able to compete in the global labor market.

As per the UNESCO report "The rise in internationally mobile students' reflects growing university enrollment around the world. In 2012, at least 4 million students went abroad to study, up from 2 million in 2000, representing 1.8% of all tertiary enrollments or 2 in 10 students globally”.
